Kim Peterson

Kim is a passionate ambassador for Working Equitation and has introduced people all over the world to the sport. She has competed high levels, trained champion riders, and horses, and is actively engaged in developing the sport, ensuring that it combines continuous learning with respect for the horses and the people involved.

As one of the founding members of WEDU she is currently the Head Judge and Judge Educator for Australia. Kim is a licensed judge with ANWEL, WEDU, and WE UNITED.

She is always keen about furthering her own education and loves sharing her knowledge with others. Her teaching philosophy is based on a deep love of the sport in all its forms with a desire to have every student, regardless of age or experience, learn proper riding techniques as well as horsemanship abilities. Her clinics are often booked out way ahead of time because people have so much fun while they are learning — her larger-than-life personality ensures that her students are taken on an incredible journey of skill, joy, and comradery every time.
